How did THAT happen?
"Time is going too fast" is a phrase I am hearing a lot recently and it is, indeed, hard to believe that Christmas is just a few weeks away!
Which camp do you find yourself in? Christmas decorations up already/going up earlier than usual this year or maybe you are holding back and refusing to get involved .... yet!
Well, whatever camp you fall into I have just the destination for you to drop into, because whether you have jumped right in or are a reluctant participant in the Christmas preparation, Flowerfield Arts Centre Craft Market opens THIS SATURDAY and lasts right up until Thursday 22nd December, giving even last minute shoppers among you a chance to pick up some artwork and hand crafted gifts.
I have managed to secure a table at this prestigious event, and am delighted to be showcasing some of my textile work alongside my abstract artwork, to give you a variety to choose from.
I was setting up yesterday and there is a vast array of local artists showcasing their work, so there is plenty of choice all under one roof - really worth a visit if you are wanting to support local, small businesses and get a gift for a loved one that is just that little bit different from the mainstream.
In other news, I have been busy working away with my daughter @rhian_music_ putting together the final series of artworks for the covers of her new singles to be released early spring 2023. This has been an exciting collaboration for us both and we are really looking forward to sharing the results with you!
In the meantime, you can listen to Rhian's music on YouTube; https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4WGKQqT9HQw9yIdwlioNcg
Wishing you all the best Christmas and a healthy, happy and joy-filled New Year! Gillianx
